Who Is Telee Gaulden?

Telee Gaulden is a musician and social media personality associated with the Baton Rouge music scene.

She gained public recognition partly through her family connection to NBA YoungBoy. Nevertheless, her musical releases show that she has explored entertainment independently of her younger brother.

Her public identity includes singing, songwriting, fashion, and online content.

Unlike YoungBoy, who has maintained a high-profile recording career, Telee has released music less frequently.

This difference is important because her relatively small discography should not be mistaken for a lack of musical interests or creative experience.

Her recordings under the Simply TeeLee name offer listeners a way to discover her work separately from her family background.

Telee Gaulden’s Early Life and Background

Telee Gaulden comes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a city known for its influence on Southern hip-hop.

A published profile from November 2022 identifies her as the eldest of the Gaulden siblings and describes her early interest in singing.

According to that account, Telee discovered her musical ability during childhood, although she did not begin seriously pursuing recorded music until adulthood.

Her upbringing took place before her younger brother became a widely recognized recording artist.

Growing Up Around Music

Music eventually became an important part of the Gaulden family’s public identity.

YoungBoy pursued rap, while Telee explored singing and songwriting.

Their creative interests were different, but both became associated with the entertainment industry.

Telee has spoken about singing in church and at funerals when she was younger. These experiences provided opportunities to use her voice in front of other people.

She also identified Beyoncé among the performers who influenced her interest in music.

Although some websites describe her childhood in considerable detail, independently documented information about her education and early personal experiences remains limited.

Telee Gaulden’s Family and Parents

Family relationships are among the main reasons people search for Telee Gaulden.

Her best-documented family connections include her mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, and her younger brother, NBA YoungBoy.

Her Mother, Sherhonda Gaulden

Sherhonda Gaulden is known for her connection to the rapper as well as her own activities in entertainment and social media.

She has been described in published profiles as a stand-up comedian and entrepreneur.

Public interest in Sherhonda increased as her son developed a successful music career.

Telee has also appeared in family-related online coverage, although the family’s private relationships should not be interpreted solely through social media posts.

Her Famous Brother, NBA YoungBoy

YoungBoy Never Broke Again was born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden on October 20, 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He began attracting attention through mixtapes released during the 2010s and subsequently developed a successful career in American hip-hop.

His projects include AI YoungBoy 2, Top, and Sincerely, Kentrell, among other releases.

Telee is publicly identified as his older sister.

Their family connection has introduced her to many of his listeners, but she has also used her own artist name for independent recordings.

Telee Gaulden’s Music Career

Telee Gaulden’s music career has developed through individual songs, online platforms, and a credited recording appearance.

She releases music under variations of the name Simply TeeLee.

Her documented work falls within R&B and soul, giving her a musical identity distinct from her brother’s rap-oriented catalog.

Her First Known Release: Dying Inside

One of her earliest documented singles is Dying Inside.

Apple Music lists the recording under Simply TeeLee, with a release date of May 17, 2019.

The single is classified as R&B/Soul and has a running time of approximately four minutes.

This release establishes that she had recorded and distributed music before receiving broader online attention in 2022.

It also provides a useful starting point for listeners interested in discovering her recordings.

Bad Guy and Her Growing Audience

Another significant release is Bad Guy, issued on January 6, 2022.

Apple Music identifies it as a single by Simply Teelee in the R&B/Soul category.

The song also appeared through a music video online.

Following its release, listeners commented positively on her singing and encouraged her to publish additional music.

Some supporters suggested that she should collaborate more closely with NBA YoungBoy.

Although the attention highlighted interest in her voice, the available evidence does not establish that she subsequently signed a major recording contract or announced a full-length studio album.

Her Feature on You

Telee also has a credited appearance on You, a song by T.Hicks.

Apple Music lists the track as featuring Simply Teelee on Prior To Fame (Deluxe) re-booted.

This recording is notable because it provides evidence of a credited musical collaboration outside her immediate family.

It also explains why listeners may find her recordings under slightly different capitalizations of her artist name.

Did Telee Gaulden Collaborate With NBA YoungBoy?

Telee Gaulden has been connected with some of her brother’s musical projects.

Earlier entertainment articles described her as collaborating with YoungBoy on tracks such as Who They Want and On My Side.

However, it is important to distinguish between appearing in a music video and receiving a vocal performance credit.

Her Appearance in On My Side

Telee appeared in the official music video for NBA YoungBoy’s On My Side, released in September 2021.

The official video description specifically credits her as appearing in the production.

This is direct evidence of her involvement in the project.

However, Apple Music’s published performing-artist and songwriting credits for the song do not list her as a vocalist or songwriter.

Therefore, it is more accurate to describe this as a confirmed music-video appearance rather than an established vocal collaboration.

Her reported involvement with Who They Want also requires stronger official credit documentation before it can confidently be included in her formal discography.

Supporting Her Brother’s Career

Telee has publicly promoted some of YoungBoy’s music.

Following the September 2022 release of his mixtape Realer 2, she shared promotional material through social media and encouraged followers to listen.

These actions demonstrate public support for his music without revealing the details of their private family relationship.

Telee Gaulden’s Instagram and Social Media Presence

Social media has provided Telee with another way to connect with people interested in her music and lifestyle.

Her Instagram presence has been associated with the username @simplyteelee_.

Through her public content, she has shared photographs, hairstyles, fashion looks, and music-related material.

Older reports describe her as having developed a substantial Instagram following.

However, follower totals change frequently, so historical figures should not be presented as current statistics.

Fashion and Beauty Interests

Alongside music, Telee has displayed a consistent interest in clothing, hairstyling, and beauty.

Her earlier social media content featured looks connected with smaller fashion and beauty businesses.

Published coverage mentions brands and services such as Shop Elite Fashion, Beauty By Bell, and Clux Hair Extensions.

These posts helped introduce followers to her personal style.

However, tagging a business does not necessarily establish a paid endorsement agreement. Any claim about sponsorship income would require additional evidence.

Her YouTube Activities

YouTube has also been part of her online presence.

A 2022 profile reported that she had joined the platform in December 2014 and described herself as a singer, songwriter, and YouTuber.

Her uploads included music videos and lifestyle-oriented content.

Unlike creators who publish videos regularly, she had maintained a relatively small collection of uploads at the time.

Her channel therefore offered another outlet for her work without necessarily functioning as a full-time content business.

Telee Gaulden’s Personal Life

Although Telee is connected to a well-known music family, much of her personal life remains outside reliably documented public reporting.

Readers frequently search for information about her age, relationships, marriage, and children.

Some entertainment websites publish specific claims about these subjects, but not all provide dependable original evidence.

Is Telee Gaulden Married?

Reliable public documentation does not clearly establish a current husband or confirmed marital status.

Older online references to relationships should not be treated as evidence of a present marriage.

Without a verified statement or dependable public record, naming a spouse would risk misleading readers.

What Is Her Real Name?

Telee Gaulden and Simply Teelee are the names associated with her public and musical identities.

Some biographical websites publish an additional name, but its accuracy has not been established through sufficiently reliable primary documentation.

For that reason, her public name is the most appropriate identification to use.

What Is Telee Gaulden’s Net Worth?

There is no independently verified public figure for Telee Gaulden’s personal net worth.

Online estimates sometimes present large amounts without explaining their calculations or identifying financial records.

Her public activities have included music, social media, and fashion-related content.

However, these activities alone cannot establish her earnings, savings, investments, debts, or total assets.

It would also be incorrect to use NBA YoungBoy’s financial success as an indication of his sister’s personal wealth.

A reliable net-worth assessment requires information that is not established by the available reporting.

What Is Telee Gaulden Doing in 2026?

As of October 2026, available published information primarily identifies Telee through her recorded music, online presence, and family connection to NBA YoungBoy.

Her documented releases include Dying Inside and Bad Guy, alongside her credited feature on You.

Among the sources reviewed, no reliably confirmed new studio album or announced tour was identified.

This does not mean she has permanently stopped making music.

Artists sometimes release material irregularly or work on projects without announcing them in advance.

For listeners interested in future developments, her artist profiles and verified public announcements provide more dependable information than speculative entertainment websites.

Why Telee Gaulden’s Story Interests Fans

Telee Gaulden’s public story extends beyond being related to a successful rapper.

She has independently released music, appeared in a major music video, and explored creative interests through social media.

Her career is smaller in scale than her brother’s, but the available recordings provide evidence of her individual artistic work.

What makes her story interesting is the distinction between public recognition through a family name and developing a creative identity of her own.

For now, her musical releases and documented appearances provide the clearest picture of her work.
